Giving Tuesday Now

As COVID-19 continues to spread across the world, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you’re in good spirits and health! Right now, we’re doing everything possible to sustain daily operations and provide services to our students and community. While there’s a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt fast to our changing reality. Now, more than ever, our community needs us, AND WE NEED YOU! Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi are the only two areas that have been put under lockdown for 3 weeks. There is however opportunity to buy foodstuffs at the market and access essential services. We are all doing very well but we pray that the pandemic subsides globally soon so we can return to normal activities.

If you’re able, please make a donation to help us pay off the loan that was taken out for our new vehicle. If you’re unable to donate at this time, there are many other ways you can support us! You can advocate for us by sharing our mission with a family member or friend. Even a quick mention on your social media would mean the world to us.

In times like this, we’re reminded of how interconnected we all are. Thank you for being part of our community. Without you, none of it is possible.

Dr. Samuel Twumasi-Ankrah, President of Heritage Christian College has placed this financial need as one of the highest priorities that the Heritage Bible Institute currently has. ‘Our students and faculty need to get out into the rural areas and nurture and develop these new churches and converts to Christ. To accomplish this, WE DESPERATELY NEEDED THIS TRUCK!’

SIMPLY PUT: HCC and HBI couldn’t wait any longer while the ministers and churches in rural Ghana were asking for ministry support. The leadership team at HCC and HCCF agreed that a loan would be taken out through one of our banking partners in the US, and the vehicle was purchased in Accra in early April, 2020.

CAMPAIGN GOAL: WE NEED TO RAISE AN ADDITIONAL $30,000 TO PAY OFF THE LOAN AND ACCRUED INTEREST.
